Meet Charlie McClintock

Hello Senate District 42!

I was born and raised in Iowa and have lived in Alburnett for over 23 years.  

I have a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from University of Phoenix and will complete my MBA in Criminal Justice from Liberty University this year.
I retired in 2009 from the Iowa Army National Guard as a Warrant Officer after serving 21 years.  I currently serve as the 911 Manager for the Cedar Rapids Police Department, where I began as a police officer in 1994.

I have served as a councilman and mayor of Alburnett, and understand the complex issues a rural community faces. On November 3rd, 2020, I was elected as the District 95 Represenative to the Iowa House. Now, I am the Senator for District 42. 

My Top Priorities Include:
 

  1.  Agriculture

  2.  Conservation

  3.  Public Safety

  4.  Education
